Tall Girl Styling Tip: Wide Leg & Palazzo Pant
One fun fact about me is that I am a SUCKER for a cute pair of wide leg pants. Being the tall and curvy girl that I am, I find wide leg pants to be unbelievably flattering and accentuate my long legs in the most beautiful way. I feel like a boss lady wearing them and rock them at work, at dinner parties, and anytime I want to feel confident and powerful. In order for wide leg pants to have their flattering powers work on one’s legs they MUST be long enough, which means they need to be purchased from a store that creates their clothes specifically for tall women. These Palazzo pants check all of those boxes and are an absolute must have for all tall women. There’s a reason why so many celebrity fashion stylists swear by high waisted wide leg pants for clients who want their legs to look super long. The waist is accentuated at the smallest point, making it appear smaller than it actually is. And the wide leg draws the eye from the top to the bottom of the pants, creating the illusion that your legs go on forever!
These pants are the most gorgeous light orange/tan color and are lightweight. The fabric is so flowy and makes them extremely comfortable to wear. I usually wear a 36” inseam pant, but since these babies were 37.5” I was able to wear them with heels (yay!) which made my legs look even longer and more gorgeous than ever. I wore these pants to an important work dinner where I needed to be fashionable and put together. I felt so confident in these pants and even had three people compliment me in them! Needless to say, I’ll be rocking these pants for all of my upcoming important evenings and events.
High waisted wide leg pants are one of my favorite items to style since they go with so many different items. On this particular day I wore them with a black turtleneck sweater and black heeled booties. The black pulled the look together in a really nice, sleek, and professional way. Since that day I’ve also already worn these pants with a white tank top bodysuit and strappy heels, and accessorized the outfit with a gold necklace and gold earrings. It was a super fun way to dress up the pants and I felt like a celebrity as I strutted down the street and had people turning their heads to stare at how long my legs looked in these pants!
